Health Is More Than Simply The Absence Of Disease

From Dr. Higgin’s perspective, people aren’t just healthy one day and sick the next. It’s all the living that we do in between that contributes to our healthiness, which means that 70-85% of diseases are lifestyle based. The key to a more healthy lifestyle is examining what Dr. Higgins refers to as the Four Pillars of Health: physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual health, and then working to create balance and personal resilience in each of these areas of our lives.

Dr. Higgins talks touch on everything from cutting edge science and theories to her own, personal experiences. From epigenetics to neurotransmitters, emotional IQ, the development of consciousness, to understanding the soul – she covers them all in a simple, fluid and down to earth way. Even more impressive, she is able to take these many complicated concepts and weave them together into a blueprint that any person – from teenagers to doctors – can understand and begin to apply to their life immediately.
