From the day he was fired from a two-decade career and the news was plastered on the front page of his hometown paper, Gair Maxwell’s story has epitomized personal and professional re-invention. Beginning in the late 90’s, he rose from the ashes of the unemployment line to become an internationally-recognized author, speaker and entrepreneur. Background

The son of a former pro-golfer, today Gair struggles to break 90, grooves on '80s classic rock and has been a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers since the 1970s. He is a celebrated member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers and a former broadcaster who racked up more than 10,000 interviews and 30,000 on-air appearances in his two-decade long radio and television career. His other activities include:
